So here is another post on a drama that’s making me really hungry. As if I needed another incentive to head to China town and ordering amazing noodles. Sigh. But anyways, without further ado:
I’m love YSY and his facial expressions, he is truly a master at the puppy eyes, the outraged man, the happy go lucky – to say a few. He shines when everyone else kinda makes me yawn. Let me know what you think!
Chinese names are pretty hard and I had watch the first 10 episodes of the drama to get a feel for the characters. So, in order for my recapping to go as smoothly as a knife slicing through sashimi, I’ve decided to do a bit of a character introduction, I’ll add more side characters as I go along but it’ll be good to just do these first.
The story progresses predictably like the ticking of the relentless clock. However, YSY made the story come alive in the midst of the ongoing exposition as always seen in the first two episodes. This drama tends to rely on physical gags instead of verbal humor, so in some ways it was made for YSY because that boy can fill a room with just his quirky mannerisms.
Okay So I’m breaking one of my own rules in recaping (again). Which is to never recap more than one drama because I have the attention span of a drunken homing pigeon. (I literally have to play candy crush to pay attention to some of the american dramas I watch, if you’re thinking that I’m deranged, it’s okay, my mom thought so too). Anyways, I started laughing and smiling at Yoon Shi Yoon in this drama right away, so it hit me that I probably should share and not hoard Yoon Shi Yoon goodness like a starving squirrel hoards acorns before winter.
